Sheldon Brice Insurance, formerly Brice Insurance Agency, was established January 1, 1980, by founder L. W. Brice. We are an independent and locally-owned insurance agency that delivers customized solutions. We’ve served individuals and groups, as well as marinas and other commercial enterprises in Inverness and in communities throughout Florida for almost 40 years. We know the needs of individuals and of businesses in the communities in which we serve.
We work with A-rated carriers and offer a wide variety of coverages. Whether one simply needs to secure their home or needs to secure a large company, we are here to help.
Our Mission
It is the mission of all Sheldon Insurance agencies to provide the highest level of customer service as well as the highest levels of protection for all of our customers. We know each customer and their family is unique as is their situation, and we strive to ensure all our customers receive the proper protection for their family and their assets with the best rated companies at the lowest possible cost.
Our aim is to ensure each customer understands the coverage that is tailored to their specific needs and do our best to ensure no questions go without detailed explanation. We will always conduct our business upholding the highest levels of integrity and honesty while placing the highest values on our customers and their needs.
Our Dedication

We have quick turnaround times, and we personally answer every phone call that comes into our office; there is no automation system in our agency.
In order to ensure that coverages are always current and rates are always competitive, we regularly and closely review policies and plans that we write. If and when possible, we include our clients in policy and/or plan review processes. As a result, people whom we serve can fully understand their purchases, and be cognizant of needs for changes to their coverages.
